Balmain, a French luxury clothing and accessory brand was founded by Pierre Balmain at the end of World War 2. With his love of fashion and eye for design, Pierre Balmain opened his first couture house on Rue Francois in the premier arondissement in Paris. His first collection was launched in 1945 which lead to a blossoming relationship between himself and Christian Dior. Pierre Balmain was able to shrug off the last remaining images of the war, bringing new hope and enthusiasm to ladies fashion. More recently Balmain has launched its own brand of eye wear, with Balmain Sunglasses reflecting style and elegance allowing them to be worn by both males and females at all occasions.
Balmain Sunglasses reflect classic styles with the popular frames shapes of rectangular, square, over- sized and pilot. The colours are traditional with brown gradients, matte black and navy blues. One unique model is Balmain BL 2002 which has Ivory white frames and an oval frame shape. All Balmain sunglasses come with fantastic UV protection and scratch resistant lenses, maintaining the designer sunglasses in immaculate condition.
Balmain has long been worn by some of the biggest superstars; Brigitte Bardot, Marlène Dietrich and Katherine Hepburn so you're definitely in good company.
