Prepare for some serious eyewear envy with the latest designs from Italian fashion powerhouse Prada. These new collections, the latest offerings from the Milan based doyens of style, are vastly different from one another in look and yet share a certain similarity in their blending of two contrasting styles. Whichever style you prefer, you can easily add a touch of luxury and elegance to your look with either the beautiful Minimal Baroque or the striking Cinema glasses.
Prada Minimal Baroque
The Minimal Baroque range is a distinctive collection featuring unique, scrolled temple pieces, and on some models, wooden frames. For those of you not too familiar with the brand’s style (high unlikely!), Prada is synonymous with luxury, eccentricity and glamour and this collection is a true testament to Miuccia Prada’s quirky and much loved style. The collection has been carefully crafted in a range of rather muted colours, which goes some way to explaining the at-first rather paradoxical name of the collection. The delicate scrolls at the temple evoke the lightness and exaggerated ornateness of Baroque architecture, and yet are the frames’ only real adornment.

Combining futuristic and retro styles, Prada presents the Cinema collection. The collection brings to life Prada’s luxury style with an unusual twist .The sunglasses and eyeglasses feature a funky double bridge and a modern matte finish in classic colours and patterns. The collection features frames that are predominantly angular, with curved edges visible but not obvious in most cases. We first spotted these cool shades on Beyoncé and we predict that they are going to be big this season.
